策略性思維

所謂「策略性」，是指為長遠未來計畫，想要做到甚麼來訂定一個理想目標。至於「策略性思維」，就是因應上述的理想目標，從不同角度作全盤考慮，制定大方向，然後考量達到這目標可能採用的各種方法，當中當然要評估和分析優劣得失，從而找出最妥善有效的執行方案。

根據以上定義，可見「策略性」就是對未來的預估，而「策略性思維」，也就是思考方法和態度，提高預估的能力。至於怎樣可以培養「策略性思維」，老施有以下幾點建議：
1. 展望未來
一點談的當然是未來，不要以為埋首顧眼前的工作就是好員工，想想未來要做些甚麼、做到甚麼，才能適應和配合未來發展的需要，職途才能愈走愈遠。
2. 審時度勢
要預估未來，必須瞭解行業市場，甚至公司內部環境變化，才能推測大勢。所謂大勢，其實不隻小氣候，還有影響整體政治社會經濟甚至科技發展的大氣候。
3. 知己知彼
明白自己的定位，強項弱點，相對競爭對手哪些需要加強，哪些要避重就輕，就能百戰百勝。
4. 溫故知新
知道現在，預見未來，也得回首瞭解歷史。時刻借鏡別人成功或失敗的例子作參考個案，這也是為甚麼商學院總是不停在研究學習眾多的Business cases。
5. 反覆推算
商場行軍打仗如下棋一樣，領軍者必須不斷估計市場或對手下一步如何挑戰我軍部署，作好準備反應。好的領袖也要考慮周詳，兩手準備危機Downside。
6. 時事通識
每天世界各地和本地發生各樣大事，千絲萬縷，對市場影響可大可小，領導層必須評估它們如何影響公司。
7. 觀察入微
對周遭一切抱有好奇心，養成對人對事的觀察能力，洞悉背後內裏的深層意義。
